Competition – Salmon From Norway, Your Way

Your chance to win an exclusive Norwegian break for two.

New campaign, 'Salmon From Norway, Your Way' from the Norwegian Seafood Council is offering an exclusive trip to Norway and inviting the UK to inspire fellow foodies with their favourite salmon recipes to celebrate the versatility and taste of Norwegian Salmon. 

From fjord to fork, Norwegian Salmon is not only sustainable, it’s also versatile and a good healthy option for summer eating. Raised with great care in cold, clear waters, Norwegian Salmon grow at their own pace, gaining a pure and fresh taste. Thanks to its balanced fat content, texture and distinctive flavour, the fish is particularly versatile and enjoyed across the world in thousands of different dishes - whether it’s grilled on a BBQ, fried in a wok, served up with a sauce, marinated or cured.

To celebrate, the Norwegian Seafood Council is encouraging people in the UK to share recipes, favourites, tips and hints on how to enjoy cooking Salmon during the summer.

Participants will be in with a chance to win a two-night trip for two to Norway. The prize comprises the following (for two people):

  • Return flights
  • Accommodation
  • Evening meals
  • A total of £250 spending money. 

To enter, post your favourite Salmon recipe image plus top cooking tip on the Norwegian Seafood Council Facebook page -

No purchase necessary. UK residents 18+. Opens 12.08.16, closes 16.09.16. One entry per person. The prize includes a trip to Norway, selected travel dates, 01.11.16-18.12.16. A Facebook account will be needed for entry. The prize includes flights from London, accommodation for 2 nights, transfers and dinner for both nights in Norway. The prize excludes personal expenses. The prize excludes transfers in the UK. Winners must be able to travel on the prize dates listed.
