Terms and conditions for the ‘Simonstone Hall’ competition, February 2012 issue

  1. There is one prize available: dinner, bed and breakfast for two at Simonstone Hall, Yorkshire. Prize includes a bottle of house wine with dinner and after-dinner coffee. Any other extras must be paid for in full by the prizewinner.
  2. This promotion is open to all UK residents, except employees and agents of the Promoter, their immediate families and anyone else connected with the promotion.
  3. No purchase necessary. To enter, email your answer with your full name, customer number and branch details (if applicable), address and telephone number to: editor@essentiallycatering.co.uk
  4. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
  5. Entries should arrive no later than 30.3.2012. No entries will be accepted after this date. The prize must be taken by 30.9.2012 and is subject to availability.
  6. No cash alternative in place of the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value if necessary. The prize is non-transferable.
  7. One randomly selected winner will be drawn from all the correct entries under independent supervision. The winner will be notified by email.
  8. The winner’s name will be used in post-promotion publicity i.e. name of winner plus county of residence will be posted on www.essentiallycatering.co.uk and will appear in the May 2012 issue of Essentially Catering. If the prizewinner does not wish their name to be published, they must inform Essentially Catering by 4.4.2012 by emailing editor@essentiallycatering.co.uk
  9. The prizewinner will be contacted during the week commencing 2.4.2012. The prizewinner’s name will be posted on the Essentially Catering website thereafter.
  10. If the winner cannot be contacted within seven days of the selection date, a new winner will be selected from all the remaining correct entries and so on until a winner is confirmed.
  11. The judges’ decision is final and legally binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The Promoter shall have no responsibility for acts or defaults of anyone connected with the promotion to the extent that such liability can be contracted out of law.
  13. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
  14. The Promoter is Essentially Catering magazine, which is wholly owned by the Bestway Cash & Carry Group.
