St David's Day - Looking at Welsh Food and Drink

If you fancy a bit of first-hand experience of Welsh food and drink over the next few weeks, visit either Northern Restaurant and Bar Show or Food & Drink Expo (see below for details) where around 40 of the country's producers will be exhibiting

Wales has a particularly rich and diverse range of food and drink producers. The entire population is just 3 million with 170,000 employed in the food and drink sector, the single largest employer in Wales, generating  £6.5 billion of sales revenue. Leeks and daffodils, it may well have, but Wales also offers a whole lot more and is planning to shout about it.

Northern Restaurant and Bar
18th and 19th March – Manchester Central

Food & Drink Expo
24th – 26th March – at the NEC in Birmingham
