London Street Food Garden returns

London Street Food Garden returns

Following a highly successful launch last Summer, the utterly delightful Vauxhall Street Food Garden has popped up for a second year.

This gourmet oasis in the heart of central London is well worth a visit for the mouthwatering array of cuisines on offer, ranging from Mexican to Caribbean, Chinese, BBQ, Turkish, Korean, Seafood, Colombian, Filipino, Cakes, Smoothies, Burgers, Wood Fired Pizzas, Bespoke Crepes, Indian, Indonesian, Vegan, Vietnamese and Argentinian. The vendors operate on rotation, but there is always a fabulous selection to choose from.

Just minutes away from the Oval Cricket Ground, over 30 million people pass through Vauxhall each year. With its eclectic offer, the Vauxhall Street Garden offers something for everyone from residents to workers, families and – of course – cricket fans.

Situated just outside Vauxhall Station, the Garden is accessed by a door off the street – immediately you are transported to a different world, leaving the hustle and bustle outside for a while. Once inside, take your pick from the following:

  • Garden oasis area

  • Decking & seating areas

  • Closed off market area

  • Covered eating areas

  • Outside & inside bars

  • Entertainment events space with weekly programming

  • After work happy hour

Promoter Mark Williams said: “We’ve been operating as a venue in Vauxhall for over ten years and promoting in the area for many years before that. In recent times we have seen Vauxhall evolving into an extremely vibrant and cosmopolitan area that people often forget is right in the centre of London. With 30 million people passing through Vauxhall’s transport hub every year and an ever-increasing amount of office space and businesses, we felt there was a need to create a unique and amazing space for office workers and local residents alike where they can meet up and enjoy hot and cold food and drink from around the world. We are really excited to offer something different in Vauxhall. It’s great to see us evolving alongside our community.”
