Bestway guarantees low prices for two months
Bestway Batleys Foodservice has announced its latest Price Hold Guarantee (PHG), with over 300 prices on key catering products locked down until the end of April.
Available to caterers from 1 March, the PHG offers price stability for customers over a two-month period to help them plan, forecast and manage their menu prices and margins better.
Highlights from the latest promotional brochure include Peroni (24 x 330ml) for only £18.99; Bisto 1.9kg for £6.99 Heinz Beanz (6 x 2.62kg) for £11.99, Angelito Ice Cream Mix (12 x 1 litre) only £12.49 and Chicken Fillets (5kg) at only £18.99.
Ron Hickey, catering sales director, says: “Catering is one of the fastest-growing areas of the Bestway Wholesale business as catering customers realise that the group can deliver both the prices and services that can make a real difference to their profitability
“We know that PHG offers customers the best value in the foodservice channel as we benchmark prices against other operators and would encourage caterers to go online, visit their local depot or speak to our telesales team to see how much they can save on the everyday basics.”
Hickey continues: “Due to our product range and buying power, Bestway is able to offer caterers a complete range solution for their needs, whether that’s in chilled, frozen or ambient foods, non-food or licensed. This one-stop shop approach means that caterers no longer have the unenviable task of having to deal with a whole range of different suppliers. At Bestway and Batleys, we want to make life easier.”
In addition to the lowest cost to caterers, Bestway and Batleys also now offers a free delivery service and has a range of ordering and payment options available. Ordering can be done online, with customers guaranteed cash and carry prices on goods and no delivery charges on orders over £100. Payments can be made via credit or debit card (with no card transaction fees) or on account.
The company’s Drinks Express Division, which services the licensed sector from 27 of the company’s warehouses, has also launched its promotional activity for March and April with a host of discounted price deals in addition to value added promotions including a 10 case multibuy deal on beers and exclusive free stock deals and POS kits to help drive sales.
Caterers requiring more information should call the telesales hotline on 01738 646666 or visit www.bbfoodservice.co.uk
