          TUCO chair wins



          Cateys Award




          Matthew White, chair of The University Caterers Organisation (TUCO) and director of campus commerce at the
          University of Reading was announced as the winner of the Public Sector Award at the recent Cateys Awards.
            Matthew White said: “To win this award is a huge honour. I was delighted to be nominated and shortlisted by my
          peers, and to go on to win is incredible. Our #TUCOfamily is what drives the organisation. I am extremely proud that
          we have been recognised as an influential part of the UK catering and hospitality industry.”

        Homegrown wine looking good




        The medal winners in the WineGB Awards 2019 were unveiled recently, revealing
        a range of winners from across all the winegrowing regions of the UK. While
        traditional variety sparkling wine remains the UK’s top wine style, an impressive
        number of top marks were also awarded to still wines and a diverse range of
        grape varieties.
          Susie Barrie MW, Chair of Judges, said: “It was wonderful to see the number of still
        wines entered into the WineGB Awards on the back of the superb 2018 vintage. We all
        know how great the UK’s finest sparkling wines are, but the still wines this year were the
        best we’ve tasted.”
