21st Century inventory control
New technology helps venues maximise their profits.
With its state-of-the-art Inventory Control and Reporting System, Barmetrix promises to help venue owners maximise their profits and minimise their losses. Using barcode scanners and digital scales allied with their software system, the company visits premises and is able to ascertain down to the nearest ml whether everything has been accounted for in an establishment’s till system.
Reports are then generated that provide an operator with a complete overview of their business. Having identified the problems, Barmetrix offers to work with owners and/or management to create an action plan, set targets, provide consultancy and training. “As the current economic situation bites ever harder on our industry, it is these sorts of innovations that could mean the difference between sinking or swimming,” says Duncan Macintosh, director, Barmetrix.
